He was predeceased by : his parents, Elwin Emerson and Grace Eleanor Porter (McKee); his granddaughter Teresa Brackman (McIlwain); his sister Marjorie Yeager (John); and his brother-in-law Glen Evans.
He is survived by : his children, Diane Cashell (George) of Shippensburg and Dennis Porter (Mary Ann) of Canton; his grandchildren, Lindsey Rathbun (Amanda) of Canton Shane, NJ, Trisha McIlwain of Liberty and William Jordan McIlwain (Brittany) of Wellsboro; his grandson-in-law Jon Brackman of Canton; his great grandchildren, Kathryne, Tripp, Wylan, Ava, Landon, Hunter and Kaiden; and his sisters, Anita Evans of Canton, Joyce Mitstiffer (Bud) of Myerstown and Beverly Drake (Jim) of Carlisle. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, close neighbors and friends.
