He was predeceased by: his parent Quintus Asher; and his siblings, Jack Frey, Paul Frey and Joan Frey Dunker. He is survived by: his spouse Katherine Nicoll Frey; his parent Gladys Seifert Frey; his brother Douglas (Betsy); his daughters, Jennifer (Doug Dimmig), Molly (Tom Virbitsky) and Nell (Jim Striefsky); and his grandchildren, Devin, Kent, Darci Dimmig, Stephanie, Allison, Jeffrey, Lily Virbitsky, Tyler Striefsky and Sophia Striefsky. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
