She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Bowan; her parents, Nicholas Huncharek and Julia Huncharek; her grandson Sgt. David Keith Bowan; and her siblings, Amelia Chup, Olga Scerbo, Margaret Voytek, Sophia Huncharek, John and Peter Huncharek.
She is survived by: her son David Bowan (Tina); and her grandson Kevin Michael Bowan. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
