He was predeceased by: his daughter Angela; his siblings, Dr. Salvatore R. Pettinato, Anthony C. Pettinato and Angela Mancuso; and his nephew Anthony J. Pettinato.
He is survived by: his son James J. Pettinato (Janice); his grandsons, Luke Pettinato and Christopher Gaylets; and his sister Marie Greto. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
