He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank C. Plevyak and Anna Gombita Plevyak; his daughter Lisa Plevyak-Suchniak; his brother Francis J. Plevyak; and his sister-in-law Sharon Plevyak.

He is survived by : his children, James R Plevyak (Lisa), Michele (Scott Bevacqua) and Simpson; his brother Robert Plevyak (Mary); his grandchildren, Corey Plevyak, Ryan, Codie Bailey, Kelsey Bossick, Austin Suchniak and Abygale Plevyak; his great grandchildren, Raelynn, Cohen Plevyak, Violet Bailey and Alyvia Jones; and his nieces, Sheri Knecht, Colleen Buell and Charlene Plevyak.

Memorial contributions made be made to the Simpson Industrial Redevelopment Co. (Simpson Star), C/O 621 Main St., Simpson or the Whites Crossing Volunteer Fire Company, 16 U.S. Route 6, Roosevelt Highway, Carbondale Township, PA. 18407.
