He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen J. Burmeister (Rizzo); his parents, Ferdinand Burmeister and Charlotte Burmeister (Krautwald); and his brothers, Fred and William Burmeister.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ellen Rock of Carlisle, Wendy Bry (Pastor James) of Petersburg, NJ and Henry Burmeister (Karen) of Rockaway, NJ.; his grandchild Chrisanna Rock Rogers; his great grandchildren, Brooke and Caleb; and his sisters-in-law, Justine Burmeister of Toms River, NJ and Ruth Burmeister of Hillsdale, NJ. He is also survived by niece and four nephews.
