She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charley Beard and Annie Worley Beard; her daughters, Joyce Myers Chadwell of Carlisle and Ann Rhoades (Anna Beard) of Carlisle; her husband Eugene Updegraff; her son Lester Myers Jr.; her stepdaughter Barbara Myers Taylor; and her siblings, Vincent Beard, David Beard, Grace Fink and Junior Beard. She was also cherished by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
