He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wagner and Bertha Wagner (McElravy); and his son James E. Wagner Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Joan I. Wagner (Rottman); his children, Susan and Mark; his grandchildren, Amber, Aleah Wickard, Hannah Wickard, Haileigh Wickard, Brittany, Brooklyn, Erin Wagner and Sage; and his great grandchildren, Asher Depew and Landon Depew. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul United Methodist Church (750 Norland Ave, Chambersburg, PA 17201). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at the same location.
