He is survived by: his wife Deborah Swartz (Knaub); his children, Jerry Swartz Jr. (Trish) of North Carolina, Melissa Swartz Rice (Jeff) of Louisville Kentucky and Brian Swartz of Virginia; and his sister Alma Weaver. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
