Nina Vogelsong Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nina Vogelsong (Carlisle, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Nina farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Nina is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherwood Sheaffer, and Martha Sheaffer, Sr. (Shelley); her brother Sherwood Sheaffer, Jr.; and her grandson Bradley S. Ellerman. She is survived by: her husband Robert Vogelsong; her children, Theresa Heinbaugh, Vanessa Ellerman, Kenneth Ellerman and Earl Ellerman; her sister Kathleen Sheaffer; and her stepsons, Patrick Vogelsong and Jeremy Vogelsong. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; her ten great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hoffman Funeral & Cremation, Ltd. (2020 W Trindle Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Young's United Methodist Church Cemetery (101 Youngs Church Rd, Shermans Dale, PA 17090).
