He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Hoffman and Olive Naomi Hoffman (Gamber); his stepfather Emanuel Stone; and his cousins, George, Arlene and Pete Merisotis.

He is survived by: his sons, William Hoffman III (Jill) of Dillsburg and Douglas Hoffman (Jamie) of Dillsburg; his granddaughters, Mary Toungett of Staford, VA, Erin Adorno (Jake) of Lebanon and Brielle Hoffman of Dillsburg; his great grandchildren, Julian and Keaton; his stepbrother Lynn Stone of Carlisle; and his cousin Ernie Merisotis.
