He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth; and his son Gary W. Herman. He is survived by: his daughters, Gayle Rich and Kathy O'Donnell; his daughter-in-law Constance Herman (Phillipy) of Carlisle; and his sister-in-law Nancy Owens of Rochester, NY. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Wolford's honor may be made to Faith Chapel of Carlisle.
