He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Jacobs and Florence Schroat Jacobs; and his wife Freida M. Spicer. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Jacobs Koch of Boalsburg, Robert "Rube" Jacobs (Karen) of Castanea and Bradley "Buck" Jacobs (Teresa) of Castanea; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Geyer, Amy Jacobs, Rebecca Hosler, Terra Jacobs, Adam Jacobs, Aaron Jacobs, Philip Hibbler and Emily Hibbler. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Clinton County Veteran Affairs.
