He was predeceased by : his mother Mary L. Wilson. He is survived by : his wife Tracey Mills; his sons, Richard L. Wilson and Robert P. Wilson; his father Richard L. Wilson Sr. of Lititz, PA; his siblings, Linda Nicholas (Thomas) of Ephrata, PA, Thomas Wilson (Melanie) of Harrisburg, PA and Becky Blass (Jeffrey) of Catawissa, PA.; his stepgrandchild Taylor Exley (Chris); his daughter Harper (Shane Guyer) of Reedsville, PA; and his daughter-in-law Michelle Guyer. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
