He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Swasta and Catherine Swasta (Bross); his wife Leslie Swasta (Aaron); and his sisters, Catherine "Sis" (Tony Bobin), Mary Ann (Edwin Harding) and Dorothy (Sam Cardosi).
He is survived by: his daughters, Beth Ann Bishop (David) and Kristin Paxton (Steve); his grandchildren, Cara Faye and Sienna Marie Paxton; and his sister Cecelia Kellogg (David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
