He was predeceased by : his parents, Harvey R. Scott and Mazie Scott (Kindle); his wives, Veronica Scott (Dailey), Vivian Scott (Kitzmiller) and Harriet G. Scott (Rhone); his son Garry L. Rhone; his son-in-law Daniel R. Patterson; and his siblings, Harvey Scott, Rolland Scott, Harold Scott and Bernice Gunder.
He is survived by : his daughters, Susan K. Patterson of Waynesboro and Brenda L. Rhone of Fayetteville; his granddaughters, Katie Rhone and Heather Crider; his great grandchild Marlee Reasner; and his sisters, Patricia Moats, Florence Scott and Hilda Bowers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
