She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William and Bessie Wertz (Keefer); her husband Thomas McDowell; her sons, Thomas McDowell (Angel) and James McDowell (Erika); her grandchildren, Courtney, Emily and James; her great grandchildren, Jaylynn and Cayden Reasner; her sister Pam Burdette; and her granddaughter Allison Rebecca McDowell.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fries Funeral Home Inc. (47 N Park Ave, Mercersburg, PA 17236). Viewing was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church (34 W Seminary St, Mercersburg, PA 17236). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
