It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mabel F. Hoover of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Verne M. Hammond and Fannie B. Hammond (Shoop); her husband C. Lee Hoover, Jr.; and her sisters, Glenn Dawson and Geraldine Shoop.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Hoover of Shippensburg, Gary Hoover (Lily) of Greencastle, Debra Ocker (Dave) of Shippensburg and Lori Sommerville (Bradley) of Fayetteville; and her grandchildren, David, Stephanie, Emily, Jessica, Galen, Lora and Cole. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
