She was predeceased by: her parents, James Nicholas and Mary Jane Roddy Metzler; her husband Johnny Deems "John" Parson; and her brothers, Robert Duane Metzler and James Melvin Metzler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Atherholt (Keith) of Montoursville, Deborah Scalia (Brett Koontz) of Chambersburg and Donna Knott (Troy) of York; her grandchildren, Nicolesha Monahan (Shawn), Lauren Piersol (Chad), Anna Marie Scalia, Christian Atherholt (Blair) and Alesia Duffee (Mike); her great grandchildren, Sawyer, Jonathan, Waylon, Callen, Liliana, Beau, Charlie and Jewels; Keith Atherholt and Troy Knott. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home (333 Falling Spring Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17202). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location.
