She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Sharpe and Bessie Cutchall Sharpe; her former life partner James A. Phenicie; and her husband Garnet Friese. She is survived by : her children, Carolyn of Delaware, Susan of Chambersburg and Brent (Chris) of North Carolina; and her stepchildren, Robert Friese (Sharon) and Shirley Miles. She is also survived by 4 step-grandchildren, and several step-great-grandchildren.
