He was predeceased by: his parents, Nester Downey and Salome Elizabeth Stephens (Roser); his children, Joe, George and Tina Stephens; and his siblings, Carl M. Stephens, Charles F. Stephens, Margaret Steele, Zula L. Stephens, Norma Wolff, Ethel "Dolly" Helman, Curley Steele, Earl Wolff and Harry Helman.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Mae Stephens (Wolfee); his sons, Allen Stephens (Ann) and Charles Stephens (Laura); his grandchildren, Tajia Zedek (Brad), MaKayla Stephens, Marina, Adrienne, Matt Stephens (Chelsea), April and Heather Stephens; his sons, Andrew and Jeremy Stephens; his great grandchild Chloe Stephens; and his sisters, Irene Pellgrem of Philadelphia, PA and Rita Stephens of Home, PA..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc. (1303 Bigler Ave, Northern Cambria, PA 15714). The military honors will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
