With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Henrietta Reaves-Overton (Chester, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 6, 2025 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her mother Sylvia Veronica Wilson; her sister Helen; and her daughter Jacqueline. She is survived by: her children, Regina, Walter, Jr. and Veronica Grace Overton; her friend Shirley; her cousin Princess; her friend Vanessa; her husband Charles Edward Overton 3rd; her siblings, William Reaves (LaVanna) of Camden, Delaware, Regina Reaves Hayden of Beltsville, Maryland and Walter Reaves, Jr. (Arlisa) of Elkton, Delaware; her aunts and uncles, Hattie Bethune, Thomas, Eva Reaves and Berniece Reaves of Hopewell, Virginia; and her pets, Logan and Oreo.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Macedonia Seventh Day Adventist Church (1917 W 6th St, Chester, PA 19013).
