It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Oakwell Wood MSN RNC CRNP (Chester, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 22, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Edward Warburton, Jr. and Gertrude Cecilia Warburton (Morgan); and her brother Albert E. Warburton III. She is survived by: her husband Larry; her children, Lawrence Wood, Jr. (Kathleen), Thomas C. Wood (Karen), Elizabeth W. Solum (late Jeffrey Paul), Michael L. Wood (Susan), Kathryn M. Midgley (John) and Scott G. Wood (Angela); her siblings, Robert H. Warburton (Gail), William J. Warburton and Jane Ann Said (Warburton); her sister-in-law Martha Warburton; and her siblings' children, Heather Warburton and Michael J. Warburton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the North Chester Baptist Church (2331 Providence Ave, Chester, PA 19013). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
