We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2021, at the age of 92, Doris Marie Rissel of Christiana, Pennsylvania, born in Coatesville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Clarence W. Work and Marie Work; her husband Norman William Rissel; and her sister Helen McCombs. She is survived by : her daughters, Carol (Patrick W. Moore) of Coudersport and Jennifer Kurtz of Christiana; her grandchildren, Shawn K. McDowell (Jennifer Glatfelter) of Coudersport, Charles Brown III of Christiana and Kent C. Rissel of Wernersville, PA; her great grandchildren, Matthew C. Brown of Buck, PA and Lauren Brown of Quarryville; and her sister Mary Ella (Rodney Linderman) of Pottstown.
