He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Bailey and Helen Shafferr Bailey; and his siblings, James, Robert Bailey and Donna Bailey.

He is survived by : his wife Debrah Bailey; his pet Gizmo; his children, Fred Bailey, John Bailey Jr. (Allen Crouse), Michael Bailey (Jessica), Andrew Bailey (Warren) and Nikki Bailey (Larry); and his sisters, Carol Dibble, Margie Fowler, Diane Elvidge, Joyce Walter and Susie Carlson. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
