With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James K. Phelan of Claysburg, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2025 at the age of 55. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Linda J. Rabenstein; his wife Jennifer Smith; his children, Nick Werner, Alexis Phelan and Elena Phelan-Hernandez; his stepchildren, Jessilyn and John O'Neill; his sisters, Cynthia Venesky and Kristy Harr; and his close friend Pat.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Leslie-Miller Funeral Home (810 Bedford St, Claysburg, PA 16625).
