He is survived by: his wife Bethany Bachert; his sons, Robert Bachert of Tamaqua, PA, Michael Bachert of Tamaqua, PA and James Bachert (Tammy) of Tamaqua, PA; his grandchildren, Caitlin Haller and Adam Bachert of Tamaqua; his sister-in-law Megan Reichelderfer; and his sibling's children, Harry Reichelderfer (Anna Marie), Megan Ann and Bruce Banavage. He is also survived by numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
