He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl I. Newswanger and Lula Newswanger (Hilton); and his brother Carl F. Newswanger. He is survived by: his wife Anna Marie (Diviney); his children, John R. Newswanger Jr. (Heather) of Downingtown and Jane Ventrella (Michael) of Coatesville; his grandchildren, Erica, Kelly, Shane, John III, Katie, Michael, Liam and Chloe; his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Zachary and Angelo John; and his sister-in-law Frances Newswanger of Bethlehem. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews, as well as great nieces and great nephews.
