She is survived by: her children, Gregory Whitfield of West Chester, David Whitfield (Vida) of Downingtown, Zelda Whitfield of Coatesville and Eva Whitfield Scott of Coatesville; and her close friend Emily Purnell. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren.
