He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gaugler and Sarah Rawn Gaugler; and his brothers, Roy Gaugler and Ernie Gaugler. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Gaugler Cash of Haymarket, VA, William Gaugler III (Bernice) of Mann's Harbor, NC and Michael Gaugler (Patsy) of Huntingdon, PA.; his grandchildren, Luke Cash (Brefany), Sarah Davis (Chris), Erik Denk (Dorothy), Ben Denk, Katy Gaugler (Brandon), Mandy Gaugler and Jacky Gaugler; his great grandchildren, Rose Davis and Eevee Everett; his brother Robert Gaugler (Sally); his sisters-in-law, Carol Gaugler and Nan Gaugler; and his caregiver Carol Trainer.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harris-Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service (1030 E Lincoln Hwy, Coatesville, PA 19320). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Harris Mountain Funeral Home (1030 E Lincoln Hwy, Coatesville, PA 19320).
He was very honored to be awarded the J. Malcolm "MAC" Stuber award for outstanding contributions to Coatesville High School Athletics and was inducted into the Coatesville Sports Hall of Fame in October 2015.
