With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertie Underwood of Cochranville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 28, 2022 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bertie Underwood to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Luther Underwood, Jr.; her parents, Millard Willis and Mamie Johnson Willis Pate; her son David F. Underwood, Sr.; and her siblings, Elsie Onks, Bessie Barnett, Chester Willis, Richard Pate and Kenneth Pate.

She is survived by : her children, Norman L. Underwood (Becky) of Bloomfield, NY, Catherine Buzalewski (Robert) of Reinholds, PA, Joseph C. Underwood (Marie) of West Grove, Nancy Astheimer of Cochranville, PA and Robert P. Underwood (Catherine) of New Holland, PA. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
