He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Matsukas and Jane Giannakos Matsukas; his brother Nicholas Matsukas; his grandson Dominic Joseph Giocondi; and his niece Tula Matsukas.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta "Bobbie" Stewart Matsukas; his children, Connie (Glenn Grosick), Paul (Karen Matsukas) and Carol (Joe Giocondi); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Rachel, Abigail, Joshua Grosick, Nicholas, Jessica Matsukas, Andrew, Anthony and Dante Giocondi; and his sister-in-law Mary Matsukas Whan.
