As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Diane may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Taylor and Amy Taylor; and her husband Harold "Joe" Lykes. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Lykes (Jennifer), Thomas Lykes and Jaime Lykes; and her brothers, William Taylor (Cathy) and Glen Taylor.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (47 E Main St, Freehold, NJ 07728). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
