John Templeton Kennedy Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Templeton Kennedy of Collegeville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard D. Kennedy and Jean Kennedy (Templeton); his daughter Deborah Kennedy; his sister Bonnie Kennedy; and his half-brother Dennis Kennedy.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Kennedy; his children, Timothy Kennedy, Terri O'Dowd (late Pat) and Susan Kennedy; his grandchildren, Brandon Kennedy, Jacquelyn O'Dowd, Olivia Kennedy-Sharayko, Tyler Sharayko and Matthew Sharayko; his great grandchildren, Aurora O'Dowd and Bentley Kennedy; and his half-brothers, Lew Hertzog and Robert Hertzog.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Ridge Fellowship (2211 Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville, PA 19525). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
