He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. Fritz Sr. and Anna Fritz (Kohl); his wife Helene Fritz (White); his son Kevin Fritz; and his brothers, Henry, Charles, Herbert and Frederick.
He is survived by: his children, Andrea Battaglia (Ralph), Dennis Fritz (Rebecca) and Joseph "Jay" Fritz (Linda); and his grandchildren, Kevin Jason, Justin, Stephen, Jarrad, Alyssa, Natalie, Matthew and Mason.
