She was predeceased by: her former husband Theodore Nitterauer, II; her parents, Earl Bean Smith and Sophie Adelle Smith (Johnson); her brother John E. Smith (Edna); her in-laws, Theodore and Minnie Nitterauer; and her brother-in-law James Nitterauer.
She is survived by: her husband German; and her sisters, Virginia (Ginny) and Sophie Bliem (Smith). She is also survived by niece, her grandchildren and her son, as well as her beloved dog.
