He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Sandy and Irene Turner Sandy; his wife Florence "Flossie" Sandy; and his siblings, Irene Matonti, Joseph Sandy and Jeanne Sandy.
He is survived by : his children, Robert Sandy (Caroline), Michael Sandy and Melissa Whomsley (Kevin); and his siblings, Donald Sandy and Dolores Kulikausky. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
