Carolyn R. Braas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn R. Braas of Columbia, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aloysius, Sr. Droege and Caroline Smith Droege; her husband William C. Braas, Jr.; and her brothers, Aloysius W. Droege, Jr. and Leonard Droege.
She is survived by: her children, William C., III (Mary Kay Braas) of Mansfield, TX, Mary Ann Gordon of Columbia and Caroline R. Braas; her close friends, Ray Pineiro of Philadelphia, Joseph M. Braas of Columbia and Stephen M. (Joey L. Braas) of Columbia; her grandchildren, Lisa (Rosa), Michael, Courtney, Stephen, Jr. (Kiara), Austin and Meghan; her great grandchildren, Andrew, Carter and Cameron; her brother Thomas Droege of Lancaster; and her brother-in-law Thomas (Bonnie Lee Braas) of Lancaster. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (409 Cherry St, Columbia, PA 17512). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
