He was predeceased by: his parents, Gully Howard and Rachael Howard. He is survived by: his wife Bernice Howard of Columbia; his children, Denise Howard of Houston, TX, Fred R. (Bobbie Joe Howard) of Lancaster, Neil Howard and James Howard of Columbia; his grandchildren, Matthew Howard, Tiffany Howard-Kreider, Nichole Caban, Leineal Howard and Lashaya Williams; his great grandchildren, Jahlil Howard, Aidan Kreider, Brianna, Elijah and Zion Caban; his sister-in-law Marie Bessick; and also Sherlynn Bessick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a large extended family.
