It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Vollrath of Columbia, Pennsylvania, born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Vollrath and Marilyn Vollrath (Coe). He is survived by: his children, Danielle Geiter (Nathan), Samantha Vollrath (Andrew), Katie Cloud (Scott) and Ryan Beard; his grandchildren, Kayden and Sophia Geiter; and his siblings, Gary Vollrath, Lois Mena (Pedro) and Cathy Vollrath.
