With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Peters (Columbia, Pennsylvania), born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 12, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon K. Peters; her parents, William A. Johnson and Anna Wilcox Johnson; her daughter Nancy Mathiot; and her siblings, Nora Brown, William A. Johnson, Jr., Anna Riddell and Janet Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kay (Charles Leader) and Ruth Ann (Michael Weigel); her grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah Musser, Jon Weigel, Jenny Brewer and Kyle Mathiot; and her sister Doris Wallace. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
