He is survived by : his mother Patricia Schrock of Connellsville; his wife Karen (Ohler); his daughters, Lauren Gourn (Edward Gourn Jr.) of South Connellsville and Jillian Showman (Ryan Ferens) of Uniontown; his grandson Liam Gourn; his brothers, Glen Showman of Connellsville, Craig Showman (Cindy) of Connellsville and Richard Showman (Pam) of Dunbar; his sister-in-law Sandra Brown (Robert) of Acme; and his cousins, Lisa and Joseph Yezioro of Uniontown.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vito C. Martucci Funeral Home (123 S 1st St, Connellsville, PA 15425). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Martucci Funeral Home (123 S 1st St, Connellsville, PA 15425).

“I worked on the same crew as Jerry for about 10 years. 1-3 battety, A crew. Jerry was the life of that crew. Everyday we heard some kind of story from Jerry. Always a blast. Jerry was like that guy from The Swawshank Redemption movie, who could get you anything you needed for work. Give him a list and you'd have it in a couple days. Always a good guy.. I haven't seen him for about 7 years. I wish I had .Rest in Peace Jerry. Bob Jakubek”
