He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Cullen and Cloe Thayer (Canter); his sons, Robert Mark and Ricky Shawn Thayer; and his sisters, Delores Stauffer, Marge Eckenrod and Wilma Boring.
He is survived by: his significant other Marian McFadden Thayer; his sons, Roy (Kathy), Rex (Beverly) and Randy Thayer; and his nephew Roy P. Boring. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and 3 step-greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vito C. Martucci Funeral Home (123 S 1st St, Connellsville, PA 15425). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
