He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles E. Schaffer, Sr. and Emily E. Schaffer (Laub). He is survived by : his children, Keith C. (Gail S. Schaffer) of Coopersburg and Karen L. (Bill E. Bugger) of Coopersburg; his brothers, Jimmie R. (Jeanne Schaffer) of Coopersburg and Gene R. "Iggy" (Joyce Schaffer) of Allentown; his brother-in-law Tim Stauffer of Quakertown; his stepgrandchildren, Michelle, Joel and Michael; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hailee, Ilivia, Julianne, Liam and Joshua. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private funeral service to celebrate Charlie's life will be held at the convenience of his family in the Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, Center Valley.
