He was predeceased by: his parents, Juliana Albrechta and Stanley Albrechta; and his brother Stanley J. Albrechta. He is survived by: his wife Linda J. Albrechta; his children, Richard K. Albrechta (Rachelle), Jill Anne Farringdon (Jon) and Jeffrey D. Albrechta (Michelle); his grandchildren, Hannah, Nikulus, Jay, Escher and Simon; his sister Juliana Tewksbury (Robert); and his sister-in-law Margaret Albrechta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
