Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rosemarie Reese of Coudersport, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 89, on October 16, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Greitl and Marie Wurm Greitl; her spouse Fordyce "Al" Reese Sr.; her siblings, Gunther Greitl and Brigitte Greitl Seize; her siblings-in-law, Sonia Greitl and Franz Seize; her children, Roswitha Wilson (Donnie), Marie Rose Reese and Fordyce "Allie" Reese Jr.; and her children-in-law, Frank Battaglia, Kenneth Ruby Sr. and Wanda Long.
She is survived by: her stepfather Jakob Grietl; her brother Wilhelm Greitl II (Hildi) of Munich; her children, Erhard Reese, David Reese (Susan) of Coudersport, Loretta Battaglia of Slippin Arkansas and Ellen Goodwin (Larry) of Coudersport; and her grandchildren, Kenny Ruby (Liza), Joseph Hughes, Frank Battaglia (Larissa), Timothy Battaglia (Amanda), Larry Goodwin (Michele), Lacey Cisneros (Holdin), Lance Goodwin (Hannah), Heather Postlewait (Mike), Amanda Wehler, Chad Barr Jr., Kristin Drugg (Brett), Justin Crowley (Mande), Heidi Vasko (Brody), Alyssa and Ayden Reese. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with nieces, and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thomas E. Fickinger Funeral Home, LTD. (210 East St, Coudersport, PA 16915). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
