It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Akers (Crystal Spring, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 24, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Betty Akers to show support.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Dale Layton and Mabel Layton (Hockenberry); her husband Allen A. Akers, Sr.; her brother Dale Layton Jr.; and her son-in-law Cecil.

She is survived by : her children, Joanne Beckstrom, Allen Akers Jr., Debbie Starliper (Rick) and Lisa Renninger (Joe); her grandchildren, Brad, Laura, Angie and Trevor; and her siblings, Audrey Morral and Gary Layton. She is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.

If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Betty to the American Heart Association or the Fulton County Medical Center.
