He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Harner and Lois Harner (Wascher); his wife Patricia Harner; and his siblings, Carl Harner and Sandy Holt (Lorraine Meek).

He is survived by : his children, Wandalee "Wanda" Holsworth of Auburn Hills, MI, Ryan Harner (Heather) of Waterford, MI, Tammy Bortot of Curwensville and Shellie Moore (Mark) of Franklin, PA..
