Genevieve (Jeanie) Mikush Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve (Jeanie) Mikush of Dallas, Pennsylvania, born in Kingston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Agatha Juba and John Juba; her husband Joe; her daughter Paula Mikush Warmouth; and her sister Irene Schoppaul.

She is survived by : her daughter Leah Kappler (Chas); her grandchildren, Carly, Charlie Kappler and Dallas; her son-in-law Tom Warmouth (Liz); her siblings-in-law, Stanley Mickish (Phyllis) and Kay Shebloski (late Tom); and her friends, Bernie Betnar, Peggy Wright and Verizon. She is also survived by nephews, nieces & cousins.

One of her greatest accomplishments was starting Paula's 5K Walk/Run for Lupus and donating Lupus books to local libraries in memory of her late daughter Paula who succumb to the disease in 2001 at the age of 35.

Jeanie and Joe are together again and enjoying a heavenly banquet with all their loved ones that have gone before them. She will live forever in the hearts of those who knew her.”
