He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Jack Gildea and Thelma Gregory Gildea of Dallas, PA.; his wife Debra Smith; his sons, Shaun Gildea (Erika Seberhagen) of Silver Spring, MD, Brian Gildea (Shannon Conway) of Kingston and Kyle Gildea (Melaura Homan-Smith) of Chevy Chase, MD; and his granddaughter Fiona Rose Gildea of Silver Spring, MD. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
